At ICR, you'll play an integral part in:
Devising novel practical and actionable interventions to slow age-related cognitive decline and prevent dementiaResearch highly translational technologies to preserve existing CNS function or repair/restore damaged CNS componentsCollaborating with other ICR scientists to leverage company resources and maximize productivityPlease apply if you have:
A PhD with several years of postdoctoral experience focused on regenerating lost CNS neurons, repairing damaged CNS neurons or preventing age-related neuronal damageExtensive knowledge of iPSC-derived in vitro neuronal models as well as experience with exosomes as therapeutics; additional mixed cell-type culture models is preferredIdeally, you'll also have:
Deep knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementiasHands-on experience with fluorescence microscopyKnowledge of basic stem cell-derived neuronal-type differentiation pathwaysA deep understanding of modern preventive and regenerative CNS medicineAnd you'll need:
A friendly, easygoing personalityThe ability to work in the United States without sponsorshipSalaryStarting base pay range:
$125,000/yr - $175,000/yrStarting additional compensation range:
$7,500/yr - $17,500/yr Starting position title and compensation are commensurate with experience.
